Qualficiations /Skills Good communcation skills Paraprofessional Certification Brief Description / Position Summary: The Paraeducator will assist the Special Education staff in meeting the instructional/functional needs of assigned reputed company. In this position you will communicate on a regular basis with teachers/case managers and reputed company service providers. You may participate in team meetings to share reputed company and problem-solve. You may complete record keeping, collect data and reputed company clerical functions for the purpose of supporting the teacher, ensuring up-to-date reference documents and/or providing necessary records/materials.. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and see, talk and hear. The employee is required to reputed company with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds on occasion and up to 10 pounds regularly/daily. Some assignments require the employee to be able to work with chemicals (Science, FACS, etc.). Some assignments require being outdoors in hot or cold weather (Band, PE, etc.) Some assignments require working with specialized equipment (FACS, Tech Ed, etc).
