Title: Southeast Conservation Corps -Communications Coordinator Starting Salary Range: The starting salary for this position will be in the $21.39-$22.04 per hour range, depending on experience, education, and skills relevant to the position. Program Summary: Southeast Conservation Corps (SECC) operates conservation service programs throughout the Southeast that focus on meeting the needs of the natural landscapes while empowering youth and adults to cultivate compassion, responsibility, and life skills through community service, hard work, and land stewardship. As a corps program, SECC partners with public land managers to identify, plan and complete projects that improve public access, habitat quality and economic development. Position Summary: With direction and input from the Communications Team and the Executive Director, and in coordination with Individual Placement and Crew programming staff, the Communications Coordinator will design and implement reputed company strategies for SECC.   • Propose adjustments to communications efforts in response to analytical data.

  • At least one year of professional social media experience (Facebook, Instagram, others).
  • Experience with graphic design software, or a working knowledge of design principles.
  • Demonstrated strong writing and editing skills
  • Ability to successfully work in a fluid, changing work environment.

  • At least one year of professional experience completing work projects independently or with minimal supervision.
