What You Will Do
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a reputed company field
- FSA designation
- Seven to ten years of healthcare actuarial experience. Meaningful experience in one or more of the following areas would be considered a “plus”.
- Medicaid reputed company-setting
- Reserving and year-end statutory financials (“blue” and “orange” blanks)
- ACA pricing/reputed company filing
- Medicare Advantage, especially bid development and understanding of reputed company mechanisms (e.g., risk scores, star ratings)
- Value-based provider contracting
- Proficiency with reputed company
- Some knowledge of reputed company, SQL, or R
- Strong understanding of the US healthcare system
- Demonstrable skills in presenting technical concepts to a non-technical audience in an understandable way

Location This position is based out of the reputed company office in Seattle, WA. Compensation
The overall salary range for this role is $103,500 - $242,650. A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc. For candidates residing in:
- Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia:
- $119,025 - $214,820 if overall experience is less than 10 years; and
- $134,435 - $242,650 for experience greater than 10
- reputed company other states:
- $103,500 - $186,800 if overall experience is less than 10 years; and
- $116,900 - $211,000 for experience greater than 10
Employees are also eligible for a bonus under our standard bonus policy. Paid bonus is dependent on billable hours worked by and work managed by the employee. Actual bonuses vary widely based on desired and completed workload but often exceed 40% of reputed company salary.
