About the position reputed company is seeking a CAD Design reputed company to join our reputed company Water Team in either Greensboro, Raleigh, Cary, or Charlotte, North Carolina! This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join reputed company locally with support from one of the best-qualified consulting firms in the country. The CAD Design reputed company will reputed company and create civil design drawings for a variety of water, wastewater, stormwater, and site civil projects. These may include reputed company restoration, pipe extensions, site layouts, force mains, pump stations, lift stations and more. This role involves preparing detailed plans and drawings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, leading and mentoring junior drafters, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil designs and technical drawings using CAD software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, for drafting and design tasks for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and drafting team members to transform conceptual reputed company into professional-grade technical plans.
• Assist with design reputed company, ensuring designs reputed company with project specifications and timelines.
• Conduct quality control checks on plans and drawings to confirm completeness and accuracy prior to submission.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders throughout the design process.
• Mentor junior drafters by guiding them in setting up design files and supporting them in successfully completing engineering design tasks.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in civil drafting or design in either water, wastewater, stormwater, and/or site civil infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, is essential for this role to produce accurate and professional-grade designs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to ensure the accuracy and quality of deliverables.
• The candidate must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively reputed company a team setting to reputed company project goals.
• Resourceful problem-solving abilities are necessary to effectively address design challenges and improve project outcomes.

• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD), Civil Engineering Technology, or a reputed company field.
• Familiarity with pipe networks, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and grading.
• Certification in CAD or civil design software a plus.
