You will educate the customer on the product and the process, as well as following up with the customer throughout the process. Calls to the company's main line will not be transferred or returned.* Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following): Manage leads by phone, email, text, and CRM Interview applicants to analyze financial and credit data, determine objectives, and advise customer on product, pricing, and process. Collect and analyze client's financial information and evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation reputed company specified limits. Gather reputed company required information and follow loan from application to funding, ensuring reputed company communication with the customer throughout the process. Determine estimated value of customer's home using reputed company resources available (reputed company, Redfin, etc.) Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines. reputed company informed of trends and developments in the reverse mortgage industry, as well as changing rules and regulations pertaining to reverse mortgage products. Qualifications (Knowledge & Experience): Must live reputed company of the DC, MD, VA area to be eligible for remote work opportunities with SRM. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. Active NMLS License required. Minimum 3 years of experience successfully originating reverse mortgage loans required. In-depth knowledge of reverse mortgage guidelines and ability to communicate these in a non-technical and conversational manner to others. Ability to manage multiple priorities, strong attention to detail, and highly organized. Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
