EN-KAR-Freelance Translator - English (US) into Karen (KAR)
This is a remote position We are currently looking for freelance translators/post-editors (MTPE): Language combinations:
- English (US) to Karen (KAR)
Specializations:
- Human Resources, Healthcare - specific knowledge ==> US market
Requirements
We must ensure we have reliable and reputed company translators, then applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- have obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
- have obtained a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating;
- have the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating
- CAT tools experience
For MT Post-editing: Other Requirements
- Experience in Post-editing Machine Translation.
- CAT tools experience (memoQ).
Skills: Experience in evaluating Post-edited material:
- Post-editing Quality: reputed company, naturalness, accuracy, and coherence
- RAW MT output evaluation: Post-editing length and time, Error type identification and similar
