Position Overview: What You'll Do as a Student Success Coach

As a Remote Student Success Coach at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in the student experience. Working from your home office, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for a dedicated group of students, helping them navigate their educational journey from enrollment through graduation. Your goal is to ensure every student feels supported, heard, motivated, and equipped to succeed.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Proactive Student Outreach: Conduct daily and weekly outreach via phone and our internal systems to connect with assigned students, offering consistent support and encouragement throughout their degree program.
• Academic Coaching and Mentorship: Challenge and motivate students to reach beyond what they thought possible, empowering them to develop the skills, habits, and mindset of lifelong learners.
• Retention and Engagement Support: Support enrollment, student development, and retention initiatives by helping students stay on track, overcome academic challenges, and remain engaged with their coursework.
• Resource Navigation: Teach students how to access and effectively use academic and career resources available to them, ensuring they maximize every opportunity for success.
• Trusted Advisor Role: Create a safe, confidential, and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable sharing their aspirations, concerns, goals, and personal interests.
• Resume and Career Development: Become a certified resume reviewer through our paid Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches (PARWCC) certification program, providing students with valuable career-readiness support.
• Cross-Departmental Liaison: Act as a bridge between students and other departments within arenaflex, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of student needs.
• Quality Service Delivery: Respond promptly and professionally to student inquiries received through phone calls, emails, and internal platforms, always maintaining a high standard of service.

Work Schedule and Remote Setup

This is a full-time, 100% remote position that allows you to work from the comfort and convenience of your home office. To best serve our students, we operate during the following hours of operation:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM CDT
• Friday and Saturday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CDT

You'll be assigned a consistent 40-hour work week within these operating hours. We proudly hire Student Success Coaches from all time zones across the United States, as long as you have full availability during our hours of operation. Please note: no weekend shifts are required, making this role an excellent fit for those seeking work-life balance.

What We're Looking For: Qualifications and Skills

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent) is required.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: academic support, admissions support, customer service, human resources, or counseling.
• Familiarity with academic policies, procedures, and the higher education landscape is highly valued.
