Department: Trainers Department's Website: https://ecep.uark.edu/ Summary of Job Duties: The Early Care and Education Projects (ECEP) Early Childhood Trainer will conduct online and face-to-face early childhood training and support ECEP in fulfilling the project's mission. This telecommute position interacts with training participants, trainers, training advisors, and support personnel. In addition, this position will support the ARRAY project and the Family Child Care Network in Northwest Arkansas. Regular and reliable attendance is expected, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial working relationships with others. This is a one-year appointment, renewable based on the need for the position, funding availability, and a satisfactory performance level. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a closely related field from an accredited institution of higher education At least three years of experience in providing training to adults At least three years of experience or more teaching or designing curriculum for birth to five-year-old children Experience writing, revising, editing, and working on deadlines Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds Experience with Arkansas' Professional Development Registry Experience with Microsoft Office Applications for presentation purposes Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a closely related field from an accredited institution of higher education Previous ECEP Trainer Experience with Blackboard Learn, the University of Arkansas' learning management system, and Zoom Experience coaching or mentoring adults Experience with early childhood organizations and advocacy Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
