Joining the Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service team means you will be part of a dynamic, high‑visibility group that works directly with regulators, corporate partners, and travelers to ensure smooth operations, compliance, and satisfaction. If you thrive in an environment where every interaction matters, where you can influence policy and deliver tangible results, this role is your runway to a rewarding career.

Why This Role Is a Perfect Fit for You

As a member of the Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division, you will blend the art of customer service with the strategic insight of government relations. You will be the voice that bridges passengers’ needs with regulatory requirements, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell air travel: Represent arenaflex’s brand by actively promoting flight options, special programs, and loyalty benefits to both individual travelers and corporate accounts.
  • Itinerary creation and fare computation: Build accurate travel itineraries, calculate fares, issue tickets, and process refunds with precision and speed.
  • Customer inquiry resolution: Respond to inbound calls, emails, and chat messages, providing clear information on travel policies, flight status, and ticketing options.
  • Complaint investigation: Research passenger complaints, coordinate with operations, and communicate resolutions, especially for delayed or cancelled flights.
  • Policy communication: Keep customers informed about new regulations, airline policies, and procedural changes that affect their travel experience.
  • Collaboration with government stakeholders: Liaise with aviation authorities, customs agencies, and corporate partners to ensure compliance and smooth cross‑border travel.
  • Data entry and system management: Utilize the native SABRE reservation system to manage bookings, updates, and reporting.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify recurring issues, propose process enhancements, and contribute to training materials that elevate the overall service standard.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Aviation Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, and manage high‑volume customer interactions with poise.
  • Proficiency with the SABRE reservation platform or similar GDS (Global Distribution System) tools.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with a track record of resourceful and creative resolution of complex travel issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical policy language into customer‑friendly explanations.
  • High level of initiative, sound judgment, and reliability—attributes essential for a role that often operates under tight deadlines.
  • Consistent attendance record and a commitment to punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in government affairs, aviation regulatory compliance, or corporate travel management.
  • Additional certifications such as Certified Travel Associate (CTA) or Certified Government Relations Professional (CGRP).
  • Multilingual abilities, especially in languages commonly used in international travel corridors.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools to track service metrics and identify trends.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Empathy, active listening, and a dedication to turning every interaction into a positive experience.
  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to interpret flight data, regulatory updates, and customer feedback to make informed decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with cross‑functional teams—including Operations, Legal, Marketing, and IT—to deliver seamless service.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast‑paced environment where priorities shift quickly due to weather, operational changes, or regulatory updates.
  • Technology Fluency: Comfort with reservation systems, CRM platforms, and emerging digital tools that enhance the travel experience.
  • Leadership Presence: Ability to mentor junior staff, lead by example, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
