Position Overview: The Heartbeat of the arenaflex Customer Experience

We are hiring a full-time Customer Experience & Technical Support Specialist I to join our dynamic, remote call center team. In this role, you will be the first human point of contact for customers who rely on arenaflex for their connectivity, entertainment, and smart home needs. You will troubleshoot in real time, educate with patience, recommend solutions that genuinely improve our customers' lives, and own each interaction from start to finish. You do not need an IT degree to succeed here. What you need is empathy, resourcefulness, a willingness to learn, and the kind of curiosity that turns a "how do I reset this?" call into a five-star experience. Training begins on 11/11/2024, and upon successful completion, you will transition into a flexible schedule designed to support our 24x7, 7-days-a-week operation—including evenings, weekends, and holidays. What You Will Do Each Day

  • Be the Real-Time Troubleshooter: Help customers navigate a wide range of technical challenges, from password resets and DVR setup to connectivity diagnostics, device pairing, and basic network configuration. You will translate complex concepts into simple, friendly language.
  • Resolve on the First Call: Our philosophy is simple—get it right the first time. You will use active listening, critical thinking, and a robust knowledge base to resolve issues without unnecessary transfers, because every minute a customer waits is a minute too long.
  • Educate and Empower: Beyond solving problems, you will help customers understand their products and services so they feel confident and capable going forward. You will be a product ambassador who makes technology approachable.
  • Identify Opportunities to Help: As you build rapport, you will recognize moments to suggest additional products, service upgrades, or features that genuinely fit the customer's needs. You will adjust billing, arrange solutions, and ensure a seamless experience from greeting to goodbye.
  • Own the Customer Experience: You will think and act in ways that put the customer first in every decision. Exceeding expectations is not a goal—it is the standard at arenaflex.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 6 months of experience providing customer service or selling products and services
  • Residency in or surrounding community of Wichita, KS; Baton Rouge, LA; Oklahoma City, OK; Omaha, NE; or Hampton Roads, VA
  • Reliable, high-speed internet connection in your home
  • A quiet, dedicated workspace where you can focus and engage professionally

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and/or connectivity issues
  • 6+ months of experience working in a position that required meeting sales goals or performance metrics
  • 1–2 years of work experience in a customer service role (not necessarily in a call center environment)
  • Keen aptitude for helping customers and an unwavering customer experience focus
  • Enthusiastic, personable demeanor with the ability to adapt and thrive amid constant change
  • Previous telecommunications, cable, or broadband industry experience is a plus

Compensation and Schedule Details

At arenaflex, we believe great work deserves great pay. As part of our customer experience driven team, you will earn a competitive hourly rate starting at $18.00/hour. If your assigned schedule includes evening or overnight hours, you will receive shift differentials of $1.25/hour for shifts between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM and $2.25/hour for shifts between 10:01 PM and 6:00 AM.

Following training, you will participate in a shift bid process alongside your Onboarding Supervisor. Schedules are based on the needs of the business and our customers, so you can expect a mix of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts. Our operating model runs 24x7, 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays, so flexibility is essential. The good news?
