We are currently expanding our Information Adventures division and are seeking a dedicated, analytical, and detail-oriented professional to join our Product Success team. This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with a global network of colleagues, partners, and clients.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Staff Data Analyst to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing daily data processing operations, independently managing small to medium-scale projects, and delivering high-quality analytical input that supports research initiatives across the organization. For the right candidate, this is a career-defining opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic, data-centric environment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing insightful, data-driven support using quantitative methods, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for turning complex datasets into actionable business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery & Collaboration: Work closely with Product Success, Records Management, and Suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of market research projects, consistently meeting ISO standards and global data processing benchmarks.
  • Data Analysis & Manipulation: Lead the execution of daily requests for data analysis, managing both primary and secondary data sources to support supplier-driven and internal business needs.
  • Requirements Assessment: Evaluate incoming requests for data services, thoroughly understand the requirements of market research projects, and propose effective analytical approaches.
  • Planning & Communication: Prepare, plan, prioritize, and communicate project requirements effectively to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and shipped on schedule.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Check datasets for logical consistency, reformat and refine datasets for downstream analysis, and ensure data integrity throughout the processing pipeline.
  • Data Manipulation & Preparation: Maneuver datasets into the correct alignment for analysis purposes using Excel or SPSS, including weighting and processing as necessary.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Act as a proactive contributor who provides recommendations and suggestions for improvements and automation, enhancing overall efficiency and delivery speed. Perform other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
  • Best Practices Development: Develop and communicate best practices to stakeholders across departments, continuously improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our product offerings and internal processes.

Who You Are

  • A Positive Problem-Solver: You possess a can-do, solution-focused mindset and are capable of performing effectively within tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable & Agile: You are skilled, nimble, and able to thrive in a "startup-like" environment embedded within a large global organization.
  • Multitasking Professional: You have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while fostering positive working relationships and maintaining open, transparent communication with colleagues across departments.
  • Detail-Oriented Analyst: You have a sharp eye for accuracy, consistency, and quality in every dataset you handle.
  • Collaborative Team Player: You work effectively with cross-functional teams, building trust and delivering value through partnership.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, data processing, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data manipulation techniques.
  • Experience with statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, R, or Python.
  • Solid understanding of data quality standards, ISO guidelines, and global data processing best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience working with B2B data products, market research, or supplier analytics.
  • Familiarity with SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Prior experience in a remote work environment with demonstrated self-management and productivity.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting for data processing efficiency.

Skills and Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex problems, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions from large datasets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with multiple data tools, platforms, and programming languages.
  • Communication Excellence: Skilled at translating technical findings into clear, compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Initiative & Ownership: A self-starter who takes ownership of projects and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adjusting to evolving business needs and priorities.

  • Cross-functional project exposure that broadens your business acumen and technical skill set.
  • An annual professional development budget to support your growth goals.
