[Remote] Staff Software Engineer | Frontend

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Machinify is a leading healthcare intelligence company specializing in delivering value and efficiency to health plan clients. They are seeking a Senior/Staff Frontend Engineer to develop user-centric applications, design intuitive user experiences, and collaborate with various teams to enhance their AI-powered platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop new applications & contribute towards the UI and potentially middle-layer development
• Own projects aligned with our product development strategy
• Design and implement solutions to achieve a delightful and intuitive user experience
• Contribute to the underlying platform to ensure it is extensible, scalable, and secure
• Collaborate with team and external stakeholders such as Product Managers, Backend Engineers, UX team, & our customers

Skills

• 10+ years of production ready application development experience
• Proficiency in modern Javascript, Typescript, and CSS/HTML
• Expert in reading and understanding complex enterprise-grade code, quickly contribute to it, and suggesting improvements
• Proven experience developing thoughtful UI system design and architecture with extensibility in mind
• Excellent debugging skills (using dev tools source code, emphasis in identifying root cause, and proactively preventing future bugs)
• Proficiency integrating web API's or micro-services to UI in partnership with backend developers
• Experience implementing best practices of incorporating AI into user flows
• Familiarity with standard development tools and processes like Github Workflows, Git, JIRA
• Experience creating and building systems in production with high traffic users
• Comfortability in navigating ambiguity and taking the initiative
• BS or MS in Computer science (or equivalent experience)
