[Remote] National Pharmacy Analyst

USI Insurance Services is one of the largest insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the world, and they are seeking a National Pharmacy Analyst to support their Employee Benefits team. In this role, you will manage pharmacy benefit programs, negotiate contracts, analyze data, and provide insights to help clients manage their pharmacy benefits efficiently and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute PBM RFPs; evaluate proposals for financial competitiveness and alignment with client objectives
• Negotiate pricing, rebates, and contractual terms with PBM vendors
• Develop clear, data-driven summaries and presentations to support client decision-making
• Analyze pharmacy claims to identify trends, utilization patterns, and savings opportunities
• Model financial impacts of plan design changes and formulary strategies
• Create detailed reports and dashboards for internal teams and clients
• Collaborate with consultants and account managers to deliver recommendations and support client discussions on PBM pricing, rebate structures, and cost-containment strategies
• Monitor PBM market trends, specialty drug management, and regulatory changes; provide insights on emerging strategies and vendor capabilities

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Pharmacy, or related field
• Experience in pharmacy benefits management, PBM contracting, or health plan analytics
• Familiarity with PBM pricing models, formulary management, and specialty drug strategies
• Experience with RFP processes and vendor negotiations
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and data modeling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
