[Remote] Business Development Executive - Metals

They are seeking a Business Development Executive for the Metals Industry to drive new business and manage existing accounts, focusing on selling industrial tags, labels, and packaging solutions.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities in the metals industry, particularly in industrial tags, labels, AIDC equipment and packaging solutions
- Execute a targeted sales strategy for new accounts while leveraging existing relationships to expand within current clients
- Lead generation and appointment setting through cold calling, networking, and industry research
- Develop and implement a strategic annual sales plan with actionable steps to penetrate new markets and increase market share
- Manage and update the HubSpot CRM, ensuring accurate tracking of prospects, sales activities, and client interactions
- Collaborate with GO2 leadership to expedite sales closures and address any roadblocks in the process
- Prepare proposals and deliver high-impact sales presentations tailored to the client’s unique needs and ROI objectives
- Use technology and industry insights to demonstrate the value of GO2 solutions in increasing efficiency and productivity for clients
- Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction by maintaining regular touchpoints and offering support to key accounts
- Proactively look for opportunities to increase Gross Margin through upselling, introducing cost-saving measures, and optimizing processes
- Anticipate and resolve potential account issues, escalating concerns to GO2 leadership when necessary

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering is preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in sales, with a specific focus on heavy manufacturing (steel and aluminum mills experience is a plus)
- Strong understanding of the metals industry and the industrial supply chain
- Proficient in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and technology-driven sales tools
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with a focus on quick, proactive solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for delivering persuasive pitches and handling objections
