[Remote] Account Director

Nucleus Global is a leading global medical communications group dedicated to delivering innovative scientific and healthcare communications that improve patient outcomes. They are seeking an experienced Account Director to act as a strategic partner to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients, leading the development and delivery of impactful Medical Affairs programs across various therapy areas.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients
• Lead the development and delivery of impactful Medical Affairs programs across a range of therapy areas
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Provide strategic counsel and oversee programs that support scientific exchange, stakeholder engagement, medical education, advisory boards, congress activities, and broader Medical Affairs objectives

Skills

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in life sciences (advanced degree, preferred)
• Previous experience working in a medical communications environment, particularly across global Medical Affairs
• A strong strategic and leadership background
• A proven track record of exceptional staff, project and client management experience
• Excellent project management skills and be comfortable leading on client facing projects on dynamic accounts while meeting client and group objectives
• Line management experience
• Experience supporting products across pre-launch, launch, and lifecycle management
• Strong therapy area experience
• Excellent financial understanding with experience of budgeting and forecasting
• A flair for working well within a team with strong written and verbal communication skills
