[Remote] Senior Azure DevOps Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ImagineX is a tech company that deploys AI‑assisted teams to build and secure mission‑critical enterprise solutions. They are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to architect, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating closely with software and data engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM)
- Design, build, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments
- Manage and automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling across multiple environments
- Deploy, secure, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and containerized workloads
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, App Insights, and Log Analytics
- Partner with engineering teams to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity, secrets management, and network controls
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term reliability improvements
- Champion DevOps culture, automation, and continuous improvement across teams
Skills
- 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure, including services such as: Azure App Services, Functions, AKS, ACR, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts, VNETs, Private Endpoints, Firewalls
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and governance
- Experience implementing observability and incident response workflows
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, etc.)
- Experience with service mesh, API gateways, or distributed systems
- Background in .NET, Node.js, or backend engineering
- Experience with FinOps or cloud cost optimization
- Familiarity with SOC2, Zero Trust, or other compliance frameworks
