[Remote] Accounts Payable Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ARR Healthcare is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist with a strong background in accounts payable processes. The role involves maintaining daily responsibilities within accounts payable, assisting the invoicing department, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely payments and accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Payment processing – ensuring invoices are accurate and authorized
- Maintain and manage accounts payable aging report
- Maintain schedules to track and ensure monthly vendors are paid on time
- Contacting vendors and volunteers to obtain necessary documents needed to process invoices and payments, such as W-9’s, payment/bank details, etc
- Updating, when necessary, vendor, merchant and/or vendor account information
- Assist in providing necessary information to file 1099’s annually
- Maintaining organized AP documentation and support records/files
- Prepares, records, processes and posts accounts payable, cash disbursements
- Obtains all travel receipts and solves any discrepancies that may arise whether it be a billing or charging error
- Gather all information to assist in the invoicing process
- Be a backup to the invoicing team
- Performs other duties as required to support the Accounting Department
Skills
- 5 years of experience in accounts payables
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounts payable processes
- Demonstrated abilities as a trustworthy and consistent performer
- Organized, detail oriented and dependable
- Efficient problem solver
- Customer focused and compliance forward
- Effective communicator able to collaborate seamlessly with other departments
- Prior experience working in an accounting software and ERP for small to medium sized businesses
- Strong Excel skills required, including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis
- 5+ years in accounts payable, invoicing and customer service
- Demonstrated history and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw solid conclusions
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or 10 years related experience
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fully remote work setting
- Must reside in one of the following states - CO, GA, FL, KY, MA, MO, MS, NH, TX
