[Remote] Network Engineer (Juniper Mist)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MatchPoint Solutions is a fast-growing global IT-Engineering services company providing technology solutions to clients across the US and internationally. They are seeking a Network Engineer with expertise in Juniper Mist and Fortinet technologies to support enterprise-scale network environments and improve performance and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Support and troubleshoot Fortinet (FortiGate / WAN technologies)
- Deploy, optimize, and manage Juniper Mist Wireless
- Improve performance and user experience
- Support general networking including routing & switching fundamentals
- Assist during technology transitions (Cisco → Juniper Mist)
Skills
- Fortinet (FortiGate / WAN technologies)
- Strong hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting
- Firewall, routing, VPN, and WAN optimization
- Juniper Mist Wireless
- Experience deploying, optimizing, and managing Mist
- Ability to improve performance and user experience
- Strong understanding of AI-driven wireless platforms
- Understanding of Cisco wireless infrastructure
- Routing & switching fundamentals
- Network troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Mid-to-senior level network engineer
- Proven ability to work independently in production environments
- Experience in multi-site / enterprise environments
- Strong collaborator (key reason for on-site preference)
- Ability to integrate quickly into an existing team
- Proactive problem solver
- Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Able to support enterprise-scale network environments
- Willing to assist during technology transitions (Cisco → Juniper Mist)
- Flexibility for contract / contract-to-hire model
- Juniper Mist expertise (optimization focus)
- Fortinet WAN / firewall experience
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate
- Strong troubleshooting + enterprise networking skills
- Exposure to Arista is helpful but NOT required
