Position Overview – Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for customers who are renting trucks, trailers, or storage units. You will work side‑by‑side with a supportive team, using cutting‑edge tools to ensure every interaction is smooth, informative, and memorable. Your role blends front‑desk hospitality with hands‑on equipment handling, making each day varied and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers both inside the arenaflex center and via phone or digital channels, providing clear information about rental products, rates, and policies.
  • Utilize smartphone‑based arenaflex Scan technology to process rentals, returns, and inventory updates quickly and accurately.
  • Prepare rental agreements, calculate invoices, and handle payment transactions in compliance with company standards.
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain trucks, trailers, and moving equipment, ensuring fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety features meet arenaflex specifications.
  • Assist customers with loading, hooking up, and securing equipment, offering guidance on safe operation and best practices.
  • Educate customers on optional services such as insurance coverage, moving supplies, and storage solutions, helping them make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate vehicle availability, schedule maintenance, and resolve any operational issues.
  • Maintain a tidy, organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of protective gear when required.
  • Document and report any equipment damage, safety incidents, or customer concerns to management promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the arenaflex location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate arenaflex trucks and trailers safely.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help people.
  • Basic proficiency with computers, smartphones, and point‑of‑sale systems.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs, either independently or with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality environments.
  • Familiarity with rental or logistics operations, especially in the moving industry.

The role involves moderate physical activity, including standing for extended periods, walking on uneven surfaces, and lifting items up to 50 lbs. Safety gear such as gloves, goggles, and masks may be required when working around moving parts or chemicals.
