Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Remote Data Entry Associate specializing in healthcare claims processing to support our growing client base. In this role, you will be responsible for processing all incoming healthcare claim forms submitted by our clients and digitizing them into the structured format provided by the company. Your primary focus will be on inputting all claim details with exceptional accuracy while consistently meeting or exceeding the keystrokes per hour (KSPH) and words per minute (WPM) standards established by arenaflex.

As a valued member of our remote team, you will be assigned to one of the following shifts, Monday through Friday:

  • 6:00 AM CST – 2:00 PM CST
  • 11:00 AM CST – 7:00 PM CST
  • 2:00 PM CST – 10:00 PM CST

Shift availability will be discussed during the interview process based on business needs and your personal availability.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, your daily responsibilities will include a diverse mix of data processing, validation, and quality assurance tasks:

  • Capture and Validate Complex Data: Accurately capture and validate complex healthcare claim information from a variety of source documents while ensuring data integrity at every step of the process.
  • Image Classification and Indexing: Classify, sort, and index digitized images of claim forms to ensure they are properly organized within our systems for downstream processing and retrieval.
  • Pre-Adjudication Document Review: Pre-adjudicate documents and make necessary corrections to data as required, identifying discrepancies or missing information before claims proceed to the next stage.
  • Automated Data Extraction Verification: Verify data captured by automated data extraction tools, cross-referencing results with original source documents to confirm accuracy.
  • Multi-System Navigation: Utilize various proprietary systems and platforms to complete assigned tasks efficiently, becoming proficient in each tool as required.
  • Cross-Referencing Source Documents: Complete assignments using multiple source documents to verify data or apply additional information to complete the work accurately.
  • Procedure Adherence: Work within established procedures, practices, and quality standards to ensure consistent output and compliance with client requirements.
  • Supervision and Collaboration: Work under a close degree of supervision while maintaining open communication with team leads and supervisors to address questions or concerns.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Typing Proficiency: Must be able to type at least 45+ words per minute (WPM) with a high level of accuracy. Must also demonstrate 10-key by touch proficiency.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet research capabilities.
  • Performance Under Pressure: Must be able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines while consistently maintaining a high accuracy rate.
  • Speed and Accuracy Benchmarks: Must maintain or exceed 4,000 KSPH for numeric entry and 2,500 KSPH for alpha/numeric entry with less than a 1% error rate.
  • Basic Healthcare Knowledge: Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing is preferred but not required.
  • Remote Connectivity: Previous experience working through a VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection is highly desirable.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Education: Must have a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Background Checks: Must be able to clear any necessary criminal background checks or drug screenings as required by arenaflex.
