Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your primary focus will be to ensure that all information within our databases is accurate, current, and properly organized. Working closely with our data team and reporting to a dedicated data manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Data Input and Verification: Accurately enter alphabetical and numerical data from source documents into company databases and computer systems, comparing entered information against original documents to confirm accuracy.
  • Error Correction: Identify and delete incorrectly entered data, then re-enter the correct information to maintain data integrity across all systems.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain organized, accurate department files and documentation, ensuring all records are properly categorized and easily accessible.
  • Correspondence Support: Compose and type routine correspondence and emails as required by the department, maintaining a professional tone and adherence to company communication standards.
  • Document Reproduction: Copy records and documents as needed to support various departmental functions and ensure information availability.
  • Phone and Communication Handling: Answer department phones, process incoming calls, and forward messages or take detailed messages for appropriate team members.
  • Order Processing: Enter data for new orders, changed orders, and quotes into the appropriate systems, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
  • File Management for Orders: Maintain order files throughout their lifecycle and ensure proper storage of closed order files in accordance with company retention policies.
  • Purchase Order Verification: Check and confirm the accuracy of purchase orders, flagging any discrepancies for resolution.
  • Customer File Assistance: Support the customer service team with customer files when necessary, contributing to a seamless customer experience.
  • General Administrative Support: Perform all other duties and functions of the department as assigned or required, demonstrating flexibility and a team-first attitude.

Essential Qualifications
