About the Role

This position is a unique hybrid opportunity that blends data entry expertise with live chat support responsibilities. You will work closely with utility teams, product owners, and subject matter experts to define, frame, and capture enterprise-wide business needs. Your work will directly support the development and preservation of our cutting-edge voice-of-customer methodology, sourced from our Cornerstone platform and integrated with the survey and dashboard ecosystem hosted through Qualtrics, our trusted survey vendor.

The Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex is far more than a traditional data input role. You will be instrumental in designing robust data model architectures, supporting optimal data processing, and standardizing metric definitions across the organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Voice of Customer Methodology Support: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of voice-of-customer processes and leverage this knowledge to define, transform, and optimize data within the Cornerstone big data platform.
  • Data Architecture Design: Design and build robust data model architectures that support best-in-class data processing while ensuring standardized metric definitions across all business units.
  • Big Data Solutions: Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions by leveraging transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python. Deliver innovative solutions ensuring data quality and accuracy through intensive testing at variable and use case levels.
  • Performance Optimization: Provide recommendations to enhance capabilities and drive efficiency in computing programs operating within the big data ecosystem.
  • User Story Analysis: Drive user story evaluation and elaboration, including the design and development of software program applications, testing protocols, and build automation tools.
  • Process Automation: Proactively identify and automate manual obligations to improve quality, accuracy, and operational efficiency across the team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partners from Global Service Networks and Analytics Engineering Teams to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of the voice-of-customer end-to-end strategy.
  • Live Chat Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries in real-time through our live chat platform, providing accurate information, resolving concerns, and escalating complex issues when appropriate—all while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and empathy.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy and completeness of data entries, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures to maintain data integrity.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and Shell scripting languages, with strong release management and troubleshooting capabilities for data-driven projects spanning a minimum of three to four years.
  • Functional Translation Skills: Demonstrated ability to actively collaborate with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and translate them into precise technical deliverables.
  • Agile Methodology Familiarity: Solid understanding of agile delivery methodologies, including the practice of introducing small product increments at regular intervals to business stakeholders.
  • Data Entry Accuracy: Proven track record of high accuracy and attention to detail in data entry or data management roles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-Motivation: Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with survey platforms, particularly Qualtrics, is highly desirable.
  • Background in customer experience, market research, or voice-of-customer programs.
  • Experience working with international teams across multiple time zones.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and dashboard creation.
  • Multilingual capabilities, particularly in Croatian and English, are a strong plus.
  • Experience with live chat support platforms and customer service software.
