The Opportunity: Remote Technical Support & Customer Service Representative

  • Providing inbound customer support via phone, chat, email, or other digital channels using a structured call flow guide to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Diagnosing and resolving a wide range of technical issues related to hardware, software, smartphones, tablets, computers, wearables, and other client products or services.
  • Accurately tracking, documenting, and retrieving customer information and interaction history using company databases and CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills by actively listening, asking probing questions, and working efficiently to deliver first-call resolutions.
  • Maintaining up-to-date, broad knowledge of client product lines, service offerings, and emerging technologies—including familiarity with iOS, MacOS, or comparable operating systems.
  • Identifying opportunities to recommend and offer additional products, services, or upgrades that genuinely benefit customers based on their needs.
  • Delivering every customer interaction with professionalism, empathy, positivity, and a smile—even when working remotely.
  • Collaborating with team members and supervisors to continuously improve service quality, share insights, and contribute to a culture of excellence.

Essential Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
  • At least one (1) year of customer service experience in a professional setting.
  • A strong commitment to building genuine, trust-based relationships with every customer.
  • Open availability to work flexible schedules, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • A quiet, distraction-free home workspace that allows you to focus and deliver high-quality service.
  • Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking, including navigating multiple screens, applications, and customer interactions simultaneously.
  • Eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and product lines quickly.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the skill to ask the right probing questions in order to reach effective resolutions.
  • Solid computer navigation skills and general PC knowledge.
  • Access to a desktop or laptop capable of completing PC and internet testing (a work computer may be provided depending on the specific position offered; details will be discussed further with a recruiter).
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection (cable or fiber only—wireless, hotspot, or satellite connections do not meet requirements).
  • A smartphone for multi-factor authentication and internal communication.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and a valid U.S. address for residence.

Preferred Qualifications
