Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw audio recordings, including removing verbal tics, filler words, dead air, and other imperfections.
• Perform noise reduction, equalization, compression, and vocal balancing to achieve broadcast-quality sound.
• Mix and master podcast episodes, incorporating intros, outros, music, and sound effects.
• Collaborate with hosts, producers, and content strategists to ensure episodes align with brand guidelines and creative vision.
• Manage and organize audio assets, project files, and backup data efficiently.
• Meet strict deadlines for episode delivery and maintain a consistent publishing schedule.
• Review and provide feedback on audio content, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new editing techniques, and best practices in podcast production.
• Prepare final audio files in various formats for distribution across multiple podcast platforms.

Required Skills

• Proven proficiency in industry-standard digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of audio mixing, mastering, and sound design principles.
• Excellent ear for detail and a critical understanding of sound quality.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high productivity in a remote setting.
