Our Customer Care team is the heartbeat of arenaflex’s logistics and technology operations. As a Software Support Analyst, you will be at the front line of ensuring seamless, high‑quality service delivery for our internal and external stakeholders. This remote, work‑from‑home position offers you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States while collaborating with a talented, cross‑functional team of engineers, product owners, and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues before they impact business operations, proactively monitoring system health and performance.
  • Manage incidents and service requests, ensuring timely escalation and resolution in line with service‑level agreements.
  • Maintain the full lifecycle of applications and infrastructure—from development through retirement—by documenting changes, performing version control, and conducting regular health checks.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to validate system functionality and quality assurance standards.
  • Create and maintain tools, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms that streamline operations, improve visibility, and support data‑driven decision making.
  • Lead or actively participate in project and stakeholder meetings, translating business requirements into technical specifications, estimating effort, and defining delivery timelines.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to end‑users, support teams, and cross‑functional partners on daily operations, project initiatives, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis to enhance system performance, reliability, and efficiency, recommending long‑term architectural improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with business and data‑analytics teams to build strong relationships and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to arenaflex IT policies, processes, and security standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including runbooks, knowledge‑base articles, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform routine system and application health checks, monitoring logs, performance metrics, and alerting mechanisms.
  • Respond to support tickets with a high degree of professionalism, providing clear communication and timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Participate in on‑call rotations and emergency support scenarios, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet critical business needs.
  • Assist the IS Operations team and other IT groups in delivering consistent, high‑quality support across the organization.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to incident resolution, service quality, and system uptime.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience handling small‑scale development requests and troubleshooting recurring issues in a production environment.
  • Strong expertise in data extraction, manipulation, and tooling—particularly SQL tuning, troubleshooting, and UNIX shell scripting.
  • Hands‑on experience with Java‑based micro‑service applications, including debugging and performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of application development frameworks and the ability to read and modify T‑SQL scripts.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business processes and collaborate with functional partners to uncover root causes.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a professional phone demeanor.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset, critical thinking, and a passion for delivering high‑quality results.
  • Self‑motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and comfortable handling high‑pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to participate in emergency support rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with logistics or transportation management systems such as Korber, HighJump, or Descartes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of ITIL or other service‑management frameworks.
  • Previous experience in a remote or distributed team environment.
