Position Overview

The IT Site Director for our Dallas, TX location will serve as the strategic and operational hub for all IT activities. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead a dynamic team of on‑site and remote support specialists, manage critical infrastructure, and partner with business stakeholders to design and implement technology solutions that enable rapid growth. This role demands a self‑motivated professional with strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering high‑impact IT services in fast‑paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Dallas IT site, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and network incidents.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues, documenting root‑cause analyses and creating knowledge‑base articles for the broader support organization.
  • Collaborate with local and remote IT Support Engineers, service managers, and senior leadership to deliver rapid, high‑quality solutions.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of structured cabling, server rooms, and RF device deployments, including arenaflex RF Devices (Model MC9190, VC6090, WT41N0).
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and service‑level agreements (SLAs) that align with the needs of the Customer Service Community.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify technology gaps, propose cost‑effective solutions, and drive strategic initiatives that support rapid expansion.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service outages, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
  • Mentor and develop a high‑performing IT support team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a 24/7 on‑call rotation, providing emergency response and escalation support as required.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time to regional sites, partner locations, and vendor facilities to oversee project deployments and audits.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience delivering technical support in a Customer Service environment.
  • Professional certifications such as arenaflex MCSE, arenaflex MCSA, or arenaflex MCITP.
  • Extensive knowledge of arenaflex RF Device platforms and hands‑on experience with models MC9190, VC6090, and WT41N0.
  • Strong background in core IT domains, including arenaflex Server Administration, arenaflex Mobile Device Management, and RF technologies.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in a multi‑client, high‑pressure setting.
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP, and related protocols.
  • Experience with structured cabling, PC workstation maintenance, and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate IT support teams to achieve performance targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of interacting with peers, management, end‑users, and vendors.
  • Physical ability to stand or walk for 10‑12 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lb safely.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments (rebranded as arenaflex operating systems) and managing Active Directory.
  • arenaflex CCNA certification or equivalent networking expertise.
  • Hands‑on experience with arenaflex MobiControl device management platform.
  • Demonstrated success managing high‑demand projects with limited supervision.
  • Familiarity with SLA‑driven service models and the ability to maintain compliance.
  • Track record of driving cost‑effective technology initiatives that align with business growth objectives.
