[Remote] Senior Product Manager- Pricing Platforms
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hertz is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Pricing Strategy to lead the development and optimization of pricing for their digital add-ons. This role focuses on designing dynamic pricing models and collaborating with various teams to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the pricing strategy for digital add-ons across Hertz’s digital and counter channels
- Build and launch dynamic pricing models, experimentation frameworks, and pricing features in partnership with Data Science and Engineering
- Conduct pricing A/B tests to understand customer behavior, elasticity, and optimal price points
- Identify and introduce pricing innovations. Collaborate closely with Finance to evaluate pricing impacts on revenue, margin, attach rate, and EBITDA
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to deliver new pricing capabilities and ensure alignment across teams
- Monitor performance and provide insights through dashboards, KPIs, and regular reporting
- Deep dive into pricing trends, market dynamics, and customer behavior to inform continuous improvements
- Advocate for customer value while delivering strong business outcomes
Skills
- 5 to 7 years of product management experience with at least 3 years focused on pricing, monetization, or revenue optimization
- Experience building or managing dynamic pricing systems, pricing experiments, or monetization features in consumer-facing digital businesses
- Demonstrated ability to translate data and insights into pricing decisions and product features
- Strong communication skills. You must be able to work with cross-functional partners to gather requirements and explain outcomes
- Strong product sense. You must be able to align your work with business objectives and make appropriate tradeoffs
- Learning mentality. You must be able to pick up new skills as needed and demonstrate a curiosity about new technologies
- Ability to own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a product of limited to moderate complexity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working closely with Data Science and Engineering teams
- Proven track record of delivering measurable revenue, margin, or attach rate improvements
