[Remote] Remote | Program Management & Implementation Planning Consultant — $70–$110/hour
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 24-MAG is offering a part-time consulting opportunity for professionals experienced in program management and implementation planning. The role involves reviewing various project artifacts for accuracy and clarity, as well as providing structured feedback to improve planning quality and artifact usefulness.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks involving program plans, implementation roadmaps, project timelines, milestone tracking, stakeholder updates, and executive reporting
- Review program materials for accuracy, completeness, rigor, clarity, and practical relevance
- Assess whether plans are logically structured, measurable, realistic, and aligned with the stated business context
- Identify missing dependencies, unclear milestones, weak sequencing, incomplete ownership, or poor linkage between plans and outcomes
- Review materials involving rollout plans, workplans, timelines, dependency maps, RACI charts, resource plans, change management plans, and risk or issue logs
- Assess whether implementation recommendations are practical, actionable, and supported by clear assumptions
- Evaluate project dashboards, status reports, roadmap summaries, and executive-facing recommendations for rigor and usability
- Provide clear written feedback that improves planning quality and artifact usefulness
- Review spreadsheets for structure, logic, calculations, formatting, usability, and consistency
- Assess slide decks for organization, visual clarity, executive readability, and presentation quality
- Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace files
- Apply consistent review standards across documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
Skills
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in program management, implementation planning, project delivery, transformation planning, change management, PMO support, or related work
- Native or professional fluency in English
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs
- Ability to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback
- Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment
- Academic backgrounds in business, project management, information systems, engineering, public administration, organizational change, management, or related fields may be relevant
- Advanced degree from a reputable institution may be valuable
- Professional training in program management, project management, implementation planning, change management, or structured delivery methods may also be relevant depending on project scope
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Certifications or training such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum, Prosci, PRINCE2, or comparable program and project management credentials
- Experience creating or reviewing implementation roadmaps, workplans, project dashboards, milestone trackers, risk logs, stakeholder plans, RACI charts, or executive presentations
- Familiarity with change management, rollout planning, resource planning, governance materials, status reporting, and benefits tracking
- Strong ability to evaluate both planning substance and visual/presentation quality
