The role involves evaluating AI-generated legal documents, compliance materials, and providing structured feedback to ensure quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks involving legal analysis, compliance materials, policy summaries, regulatory topics, contract summaries, risk assessments, and governance materials
- Review legal and compliance materials for accuracy, completeness, rigor, clarity, and practical relevance
- Assess whether recommendations are well-supported, internally consistent, and aligned with the stated legal or compliance context
- Identify inaccurate assumptions, unclear legal logic, incomplete compliance analysis, weak recommendations, or poor linkage between requirements and proposed actions
- Review materials involving policies, compliance matrices, legal memos, contract summaries, regulatory summaries, risk registers, audit-facing materials, and executive compliance presentations
- Assess whether legal and compliance materials are clear, practical, appropriately structured, and suitable for business, legal, compliance, or leadership audiences
- Evaluate spreadsheets, dashboards, policy summaries, risk assessments, and executive-facing recommendations for rigor and usability
- Provide clear written feedback that improves legal and compliance artifact quality
- Review spreadsheets for structure, logic, calculations, formatting, usability, and consistency
- Assess slide decks for organization, visual clarity, executive readability, and presentation quality
- Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace files
- Apply consistent review standards across documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
Skills
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in law, compliance, regulatory review, contract review, legal analysis, risk management, audit, corporate governance, policy review, or related work
- Native or professional fluency in English
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs
- Ability to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback
- Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment
- Academic backgrounds in law, legal studies, compliance, business, public policy, finance, risk management, governance, or related fields may be relevant
- Advanced degree from a reputable institution may be valuable
- Professional training in legal analysis, compliance, contract review, regulatory review, risk assessment, audit, or governance may also be relevant depending on project scope
- JD, LLM, master's degree, compliance credential, or comparable legal/compliance-related qualification
- Certifications such as CCEP, CRCM, CIPP, CAMS, CISA, CRISC, or comparable legal, compliance, privacy, audit, or risk credentials
- Experience creating or reviewing legal memos, compliance reports, policy summaries, regulatory analyses, contract summaries, risk registers, compliance matrices, audit-facing materials, or executive presentations
- Familiarity with contract review, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, privacy, AML/KYC, consumer protection, employment compliance, vendor risk, and policy review materials
- Strong ability to evaluate both legal/compliance substance and visual/presentation quality
