Role Overview
As a Driver Onboarding Specialist & Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for prospective delivery professionals. You will guide them through the application, verification, and activation process, ensuring a seamless experience from sign‑up to first delivery. This hybrid role blends customer service, compliance, and data management, offering you the chance to work remotely or from our vibrant downtown San Diego office.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Review & Eligibility Verification: Examine driver applications, insurance policies, and vehicle registration documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with arenaflex standards.
- Virtual Vehicle Safety Inspections: Conduct live, video‑based safety checks with driver‑applicants, providing guidance and feedback; training will be supplied.
- Multi‑Channel Communication: Respond to driver‑applicants via text, chat, and email, keeping them informed of their application status and next steps.
- Background Check Coordination: Initiate and track pre‑employment background checks using arenaflex’s proprietary software platform.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately input applicant information into our CRM, maintain up‑to‑date records, and generate regular reports for the onboarding team.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks or recurring issues in the onboarding workflow and propose actionable solutions to senior leadership.
- Collaboration: Partner with the recruiting, compliance, and driver support teams to align onboarding activities with broader business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a business environment performing data entry, HR, receptionist, administrative assistance, or customer service duties.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high‑volume workloads while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency with web‑based applications, smartphone platforms, and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for explaining complex processes in simple terms.
- Self‑motivated and capable of working independently in a remote or office setting.

Work Schedule & Location
This is a full‑time position (minimum 40 hours per week) with the flexibility to work from arenaflex’s downtown San Diego office or remotely from any of the preferred states listed below. Shifts may include evenings, nights, and weekends to accommodate driver‑applicant availability.
Preferred States: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia. Candidates from other states will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $25,000 – $35,000, commensurate with experience, education, and skill set.
