About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Nevada Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team. In this pivotal position, you will be the voice of arenaflex for patients receiving life‑sustaining specialty drug therapy. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will blend compassionate patient interaction with meticulous order coordination, ensuring that every prescription is processed accurately, efficiently, and with the empathy our brand stands for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous, knowledgeable telephone support to patients receiving specialty medications, addressing inquiries, concerns, and medication‑related questions.
  • Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verification of insurance benefits and renewal of authorizations.
  • Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system with precision, ensuring all data fields are complete and accurate.
  • Collect and confirm copay amounts, communicate financial responsibilities to patients, and assist with payment arrangements when needed.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers, health‑care providers, and internal teams to resolve clinical or accounts‑receivable issues that could delay order fulfillment.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of specialty drug therapies, insurance formularies, and medical terminology to provide accurate information.
  • Document all patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies, preserving confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, share feedback with leadership, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience in a high‑volume customer service role, preferably handling complex inquiries over the phone.
  • Proficiency with Windows‑based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email platforms.
  • Demonstrated computer keyboarding skills with a strong aptitude for learning new software quickly.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy, clarity, and professionalism to diverse audiences.
  • Residency in Nevada and a location within 75 miles of the specialty pharmacy hub at 7251 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a health‑care setting, particularly within pharmacy, benefits administration, or medical billing.
  • Familiarity with insurance verification processes, prescription terminology, and clinical documentation.
  • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing patient and operational challenges.

Education

A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent is required. While not mandatory, additional coursework or certifications in health‑care administration, customer service excellence, or related fields are considered a strong advantage.

Training & Schedule

Training Duration: 4 weeks (PTO blackout period)

Training Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM PST

Post‑Training Shift: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM PST (full‑time)

Our comprehensive training program equips you with the technical knowledge, product expertise, and communication techniques needed to excel in the specialty pharmacy environment. You will be mentored by seasoned professionals and receive ongoing support as you transition to independent operation.

Compensation & Benefits
