About arenaflex

arenaflex is a forward-thinking organization operating at the intersection of healthcare innovation and data excellence. We partner with leading healthcare brands and service providers to deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely information management solutions that directly impact patient care, pharmacy operations, and overall public health outcomes. As a recognized name in the healthcare services space, arenaflex has built a reputation for combining cutting-edge technology with meticulous human oversight to ensure that the data powering critical healthcare decisions is precise, secure, and actionable.

Our work environment is fully remote, highly collaborative, and built on a foundation of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement. We believe that great talent does not need to be tied to a physical office to do great work. That is why we have cultivated a virtual workplace that empowers team members across the country to thrive professionally while maintaining the flexibility and work-life balance they deserve.

We are currently expanding our data operations team and are looking for a Part-Time Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist who is passionate about accuracy, enjoys working independently, and is eager to contribute to the healthcare industry from the comfort of their own home.

Position Overview

The Part-Time Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex plays an essential role in supporting the backbone of our data infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, has a strong sense of responsibility, and is looking for a flexible part-time opportunity that still offers meaningful work and room for professional growth. Whether you are a stay-at-home parent returning to the workforce, a student looking to gain professional experience, or simply someone seeking a part-time role that fits your lifestyle, this opportunity at arenaflex could be the perfect fit.

In this role, you will be responsible for entering, verifying, and managing a wide variety of healthcare-related data into our secure databases and information systems. Your contributions will help ensure that clinicians, pharmacists, and administrators have access to accurate information when they need it most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Input: Enter information from a variety of source documents, including forms, electronic files, scanned images, and digital communications, into arenaflex databases and content management systems with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Data Integrity and Quality Assurance: Perform regular audits, validation checks, and quality control reviews to ensure that all entered data is complete, consistent, and free from errors. Flag discrepancies and escalate issues to appropriate team leads.
  • Electronic File and Document Management: Organize, categorize, and maintain electronic files in a structured manner, ensuring that records are easily retrievable and properly archived in accordance with company retention policies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet project deadlines, achieve daily and weekly productivity goals, and contribute to a positive team culture even in a virtual environment.
  • Confidentiality and Security Compliance: Follow all established protocols regarding the handling of sensitive and confidential information, including but not limited to protected health information (PHI), in full compliance with HIPAA regulations and arenaflex internal policies.
  • Process Adherence: Apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) consistently and suggest improvements where appropriate, contributing to ongoing process optimization efforts.
  • Team Support: Provide backup support to colleagues during peak periods and assist in training new team members on data entry best practices and arenaflex systems.
  • Reporting: Generate basic reports and summaries from entered data as needed to support operational decision-making.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Some college coursework, particularly in business administration, health information management, or a related field, is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Comfort with learning new software platforms and digital tools is essential.
  • Typing Skills: Excellent typing speed (minimum of 45 words per minute) with a strong emphasis on accuracy and minimal error rates.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to spot inconsistencies, errors, and omissions in data, with a meticulous approach to every task.
  • Organizational Ability: Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Self-Motivation: Proven ability to work independently, stay focused, and maintain productivity without direct supervision.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and professional written and verbal communication abilities, essential for collaborating in a virtual team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related field, ideally within a healthcare, pharmacy, or insurance environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology, medical billing codes, or pharmacy operations is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems or healthcare information management platforms.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and best practices for handling protected health information.
  • Previous remote work experience, demonstrating the discipline and self-direction required to succeed in a virtual role.

Technical and Workspace Requirements

  • Reliable, high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download speed recommended).
  • A personal computer or laptop with an up-to-date operating system (Windows 10 or higher, or macOS 11 or higher).
  • Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions during scheduled work hours.
  • Availability to work part-time hours, typically between 20 to 29 hours per week, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend shifts as business needs dictate.
  • Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all arenaflex policies, procedures, and security protocols.

Skills and Competencies for Success

At arenaflex, we believe that success in this role goes beyond technical know-how. We are looking for candidates who embody the following competencies:

  • Reliability and Accountability: You show up on time, meet your commitments, and take ownership of your work, even when no one is watching.
  • Adaptability: You are comfortable navigating change, learning new systems, and adjusting to evolving priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: You approach challenges with curiosity and resourcefulness, and you are not afraid to ask questions or seek clarification when needed.
  • Customer Focus: You understand that the data you enter ultimately supports healthcare providers and patients, and you approach your work with that sense of purpose.
  • Continuous Improvement: You actively seek ways to do your job better, faster, and more accurately, and you welcome feedback as an opportunity to grow.

Career Growth and Learning Opportunities

  • Comprehensive onboarding and training programs designed to set you up for success from day one.

  • Mentorship and support from experienced team leads and supervisors.
  • A clear pathway to full-time positions as they become available within the organization.
  • Exposure to real-world healthcare operations that can serve as a foundation for careers in health informatics, medical coding, healthcare administration, or data analytics.

Many of our most successful team members have started in part-time data entry roles and grown into specialized positions within the company. If you are ambitious, reliable, and eager to learn, arenaflex will support your journey.
