Civic Nation and When We All Vote seek a National Organizing Director to support the successful implementation of Civic Nation and When We All Vote’s 2026 Party at the Polls program, an evidence-backed voter turnout program that transforms voting from a solitary action into a community celebration for all by promoting community-led parties near early voting centers. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Campaigns and Partnerships, the Party at the Polls National Organizing Director will lead the implementation of a nationwide grant program and manage a team of organizers who will execute the program on the ground. This is a full-time temporary position concluding December 15th, 2026. Founded in 2018, When We All Vote works at the intersection of voting and culture to meet communities where they are to turn civic engagement into an everyday norm. From online voter education and creative partnerships to organizing and on-the-ground programming, our work will continue to reach, educate, and inspire millions of people across the country every year. YOUR IMPACT Support and manage the successful implementation of Civic Nation and When We all Vote’s 2026 Party at the Polls program, a nationally scaled, evidence-backed voter turnout program. Drive grant strategy and oversee disbursement of the Party at the Polls Fund. Support, manage, and oversee the development, negotiation, and execution of partnership agreements, MOUs, and joint effort agreements — ensuring mutual clarity on roles, deliverables, and expectations. Manage joint effort agreements (JEAs), ensuring partner accountability and alignment on deliverables and timelines. Manage and develop a team of 3-5 direct reports, fostering a high-performing, mission-driven culture. Ensure learnings from the field inform national strategy and activations are delivered with consistency and quality. Support voter protection strategies by deploying resources to high-risk geographies and connecting partners with legal support and training. Other reasonable and related duties as assigned. YOUR EXPERIENCE 7+ years of professional experience, preferably in organizing, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement. 3+ years of direct supervisory or management experience. Demonstrated experience leading national organizing programs and/or partnership management. Experience executing grant-funded programs, including familiarity with reporting requirements and compliance. Proven experience managing large-scale events and projects, staff, systems, and processes for organizations. YOUR COMPETENCIES Comfort and credibility in public-facing settings, including on-camera appearances, live events, and partner convenings; consistently reflects and advances the organization’s voice, values, and brand Proficiency supporting strategic initiatives and breaking down into clear milestones and deliverables. Excellent writing and copy-editing skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, with an eye for detail. Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with Mobilize, Slack, Bill.com, TravelPerk, and Zoom preferred. Exceptional leadership and communication skills – a good listener who can be both empathetic and pragmatic. Ability to connect with a diverse group of individuals at all levels of the organizational structure. Strong teamwork, critical thinking, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable with independent project work and frequent fluctuations in workload. SALARY & BENEFITS The salary for this position is $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, given the short-term nature of this program, successful candidates will receive continued health insurance coverage beyond the program end date as part of our commitment to supporting team members.
