POSITION DESCRIPTION This position is responsible for driving profitable sales growth across the designated territories by developing existing customer relationships, expanding product ranges, and securing new business opportunities. Through the effective execution of marketing programs and merchandising strategies, the role will maximise the OX brand's presence and market potential. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the territory to achieve monthly/quarterly & annual budget objectives, whilst maintaining adequate coverage/servicing to meet customer expectations To maintain and develop customer sales within the designated territory to maximise the sales potential at profitable gross margin returns to achieve the annual budget Maintain a regular call cycle for the existing customer base, whilst continually seeking new business opportunities within the territory Develop existing Key accounts by executing "Kill the Red" strategies and expanding OX Tools' footprint within the store Present OX promotional activity to ensure growth in sales & shelf space increases at all customer outlets Continually research customers’ sales & product ranges to prepare proactive call initiatives prior to next call cycle Attend trade evenings & schedule regular instore training programs with counter staff & End Users New product introduction to be presented regularly at day to day calls with quarterly objectives to be achieved Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams from territory on a weekly basis Continually develop strategies to ensure cost effective calls are completed Travel expenses to be maintained & within the guidelines provided Attend weekly & monthly Sales Meetings Complete Daily call logs and follow information in OX Tools AU CRM Systems (NetSuite, Numerik) Reviewing strategic 90-day plans with sales manager SKILLS / EXPERIENCE At least 2 years' prior experience as a BDM or Sales Representative Excellent product knowledge Ability to lead by example and be a role model to the wider organisation Strong communication and negotiation skills Customer focused mind-set People oriented and results driven Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills Effective relationship building, networking and influencing skills Excellent communications skills – written, verbal and interpersonal - with an ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritise tasks and to delegate them when appropriate Ability to identify, analyse and develop effective solutions to problems Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
