The Role: Senior Chat Community Moderator

arenaflex is seeking a detail-oriented, community-focused individual to join our team as a Senior Chat Community Moderator in a remote, part-time capacity. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the health, safety, and positive atmosphere of our official Discord community. As a key member of our digital engagement team, you'll be responsible for upholding community standards, fostering respectful interactions, and ensuring that our Discord space remains welcoming for all participants.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Chat Community Moderator at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Content Moderation: Proactively monitor all conversations, channels, and activities within the arenaflex Discord server to ensure compliance with community guidelines and terms of service
• Policy Enforcement: Delete messages, posts, and content that violate arenaflex's community standards, including but not limited to harassment, spam, inappropriate content, and rule violations
• User Management: Implement appropriate disciplinary actions including muting, temporary suspensions, and permanent bans for users who repeatedly violate community rules
• Report Investigation: Thoroughly investigate and respond to user reports of violations, gathering evidence and making informed decisions on appropriate actions
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of moderation actions, reported incidents, and user interactions for quality assurance and continuous improvement
• Community Engagement: Participate in team discussions to provide insights on community trends, suggest improvements to moderation protocols, and contribute to the development of community guidelines
• Emergency Response: Address urgent situations such as hate speech, threats, or security breaches with appropriate urgency and following established protocols

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in online community moderation or similar role
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities in digital environments
