Position Overview

This role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and process innovation. The successful candidate will act as a catalyst for financial planning and analysis (FP&A) initiatives, translating complex data into actionable insights, and ensuring that our finance‑technology platforms run smoothly. While the position is primarily remote, occasional on‑site collaboration days (up to two per month) are expected to foster team cohesion and strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture & Validation: Accurately enter, cleanse, and validate large volumes of financial data from multiple sources, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
  • Process Improvement Partner: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders—including FP&A analysts, finance managers, and technology developers—to identify bottlenecks and recommend automation opportunities.
  • Project Execution: Lead or support end‑to‑end finance technology projects, from requirement gathering and design to testing, rollout, and post‑implementation support.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Generate and maintain standard and ad‑hoc financial reports using tools such as OneStream, CPM platforms, SQL, and Power BI, delivering clear visualizations for senior leadership.
  • Cross‑Functional Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between the FP&A team and the application development groups, translating business needs into technical specifications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek ways to streamline existing financial cycles, reduce manual effort, and enhance data quality across the organization.
  • Documentation & Governance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data entry procedures, system configurations, and project deliverables to support audit readiness.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior team members and conduct virtual training sessions on best practices for data entry, system usage, and analytical techniques.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in bookkeeping, financial data management, or finance‑technology enablement.
  • Demonstrated expertise with financial reporting tools, especially OneStream, CPM solutions, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to effectively partner with cross‑functional teams.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of handling high‑volume data entry tasks without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or authorized to work).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CIMA.
  • Experience implementing finance transformation initiatives in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑based ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud Financials).
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, etc.).
  • Previous exposure to agile project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change across diverse business units.
