Learn more at www.getpliant.com ABOUT THE ROLE We are hiring a Software Engineer - Mobile EU/UK remote (m/f/d). As part of the Engineering department, you will join one of our cross-functional teams of frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and designers. You will be playing a key role in delivering innovative features paired with a great user experience to our business customers. For this purpose, you have good attention to detail and don’t just work on code but bring a product to life! WHAT YOU'LL DO Conception, definition, and further development of our mobile app(s) Build and ship high-quality mobile features in React Native for iOS and Android, from concept to production Translate product requirements and designs into clean, maintainable UI and robust business logic Own performance and reliability Implement and maintain native modules/bridges when platform-specific capabilities are required (Swift/Obj-C, Kotlin/Java) Participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, and documentation to keep the codebase consistent and scalable WHAT YOU'LL BRING Expertise in building testable, maintainable, and extendable architecture Passion for good software engineering practices Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns and antipatterns 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, including hands-on React Native work in production Solid understanding of mobile performance fundamentals (rendering, memory, startup time) and debugging in production. Working knowledge of native iOS/Android development (Swift/Obj-C and/or Kotlin/Java) and the ability to build or maintain native modules when needed. Familiarity with testing practices (unit/integration/e2e) and CI/CD pipelines for mobile delivery.
