Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative – Driving at arenaflex plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of service is delivered to every guest who enters our facility. This position is responsible for assisting customers with parking-related transactions, facilitating the smooth flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment at all entry and exit points. Beyond traditional customer service duties, this role is designed for someone who enjoys being on the move, engaging with a diverse range of people, and taking ownership of the guest experience from start to finish.

The hourly pay range for this position is $15.15 – $20.55 per hour, depending on experience and shift assignment. This is a hands-on, on-site role that requires a flexible schedule, including availability for mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Payment Assistance: Greet and assist customers in making payments through fully automated revenue control equipment, ensuring transactions are processed quickly and accurately.
  • Traffic Flow Management: Help customers navigate parking services efficiently and facilitate the expedient flow of traffic through the facility, minimizing wait times and congestion.
  • Customer Satisfaction Programs: Lead and support programs designed to improve overall client and customer satisfaction, including gathering feedback and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Location Operations Support: Assist in the management of day-to-day activities at the assigned location, working closely with supervisors to ensure smooth operations during your shift.
  • Pay-in Lane Monitoring: Monitor parkers in pay-in lanes to ensure proper procedures are followed and that customers are supported throughout the payment process.
  • Professional Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner at all times, creating a positive first impression of arenaflex.
  • Vehicle Location Assistance: Provide assistance to customers who may have forgotten where they parked their vehicle, including directing them to their car or coordinating with team members for additional support.
  • Facility Audits: Conduct garage and facility audits as required by management, ensuring that equipment, signage, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld.
  • Cash Handling: Count the “bank” of revenue at the beginning of each shift (if required) to ensure starting totals are correct, and make change for customers as needed before transactions are completed.
  • Rate Quoting and Information: Accurately quote rates for parking services and provide directions to various locations throughout the city, acting as a helpful resource for visitors and locals alike.
  • Complaint Resolution: Resolve customer complaints independently or escalate issues to a supervisor when additional support is needed, always aiming for a satisfactory resolution.
  • Telephone Support: Answer telephones in a prompt and courteous manner when required, providing accurate information and taking detailed messages as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness of the facility and pick up trash in the surrounding area, ensuring a welcoming environment for every guest.
  • Professional Presentation: Present yourself professionally at all times, including neat appearance and proper uniform, while on duty.
  • Reliable Attendance: Arrive to work on time for scheduled shifts and maintain consistent attendance in accordance with arenaflex policies.
  • Additional Duties: Complete any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor to support overall team success.

Education

A High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required.

Experience

Previous experience with automated parking access control hardware and software is preferred, though a high aptitude for technology and a willingness to learn can be equally valuable. Prior customer service experience in a fast-paced, public-facing environment is highly desirable.

Availability

Special shift requirements will vary depending on the location’s hiring needs. Availability to work second shift, third shift, weekends, and holidays may be required. Flexibility is a key component of this role.

License Requirement

The employee will be required to have and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The ability to make change accurately is essential.

Language Skills

Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, supervisors, and other employees of the organization.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but standard written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15.15 to $20.55 per hour, based on experience and shift assignment. In addition to hourly compensation, arenaflex employees may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that may include health insurance options, paid time off, retirement savings plans, and opportunities for overtime.
