[Remote] Chief Financial Officer, North America

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HelloFresh is a global food solutions group and the world's leading meal kit company, actively changing the way people eat. As the Chief Financial Officer for North America, you will oversee a ~$5 billion revenue market and a finance organization of approximately 50 professionals, acting as a strategic partner to Managing Directors and co-owning the P&L while driving regional growth.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary advisor to US Managing Directors, providing financial insights that influence strategy across FP&A, controlling, and accounting for multiple product verticals
• Co-own the regional P&L and lead the US finance department to ensure robust management of accounting & balance sheet, US tax regulations, and FP&A
• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of nearly 50 employees across Tax, Treasury, and Accounting, fostering a culture of excellence and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with central finance teams in Germany on treasury, systems and group accounting/reporting, while maintaining regional autonomy
• Oversee the financial integration of new and evolving brands into the group structure, ensuring scalable reporting and independent FP&A capabilities, where necessary

Skills

• Comprehensive experience across the full finance spectrum, including mastery of US accounting standards, tax regulations, balance sheet management, and FP&A
• The ability to transcend traditional reporting roles to become a credible business partner who understands the operational needs of Managing Directors
• Significant experience operating successfully within a global matrix organization, balancing local business needs with group-level requirements
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills necessary to unite a large finance function and represent the US market within the central group leadership
• Ideally, a proven track record in industries involving physical goods, logistics, or D2C subscription models, ideally within a company of comparable scale ($5bn+ revenue)
