[Remote] Alteryx Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Holistic Partners, Inc is seeking an experienced Alteryx Data Engineer to support a large-scale CRM-to-Salesforce data migration initiative. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing Alteryx workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes while collaborating with project teams to enhance data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand existing SQL logic, data models, and workflows for enhancements and optimization
- Design, develop, and maintain Alteryx workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT)
- Build dynamic input processes utilizing Salesforce Data Loader or equivalent connectors
- Develop and maintain success/error logging and validation processes for data migration activities
- Test, troubleshoot, and optimize workflows to ensure data quality and performance
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and project teams to explore workflow parallelization and automation opportunities
- Support and enhance data pipelines that cleanse, transform, and map data between source and target systems
- Document development efforts and track project work using Jira and Confluence
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings
Skills
- 8+ years of enterprise SQL data development experience
- Advanced expertise with Alteryx Designer for source-to-target data transformation
- Strong experience with CRM and database systems, including SQL Server
- Advanced T-SQL scripting, query optimization, and performance tuning skills
- Experience designing and supporting ETL/ELT workflows and data migration projects
- Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and transformation techniques
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce data migration projects
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Loader, Salesforce connectors, or equivalent integration tools
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Knowledge of workflow automation and parallel processing techniques
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale data integration initiatives
