[Remote] Data and Reporting Analyst (Remote)

The Data and Reporting Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to support organizational decision-making and strategic initiatives, transforming raw data into actionable insights through various reporting and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, consolidate and analyze large datasets from multiple internal and external sources
• Perform database inquiries, compile and analyze data, identify trends, and furnish statistical analyses and reports on service delivery
• Present findings in clear, concise formats tailored to different audiences
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations using Power BI and other Microsoft tools to support decision-making
• Automate reporting process to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Perform ad hoc analyses to answer business questions and support leadership requests
• Establish procedures to ensure the accurate and efficient collection and entry of data into reporting system
• Create and maintain documentation for data definitions, including a dictionary, reports, and analysis processes
• Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices
• Recommend improvements to existing processes based on data insights and collaborating with teams to improve system performance
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance
• Bachelor's degree in quantitative analysis, information technology, or a related field PLUS Two years' experience in providing qualitative or quantitative data compilation, analysis, reporting, and database management. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Complex Database management experience and manipulation using tools such as SQL, Python or Excel or other data marts to meet user needs
• Professional experience using visualization tools, specifically Power BI
• Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Strong mathematical skills, data modeling, and proven successful experience to analyze, model, and interpret data
• Proven experience managing multiple priorities
• Strong effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Experience using strong interpersonal skills such as collaboration and coordination with various levels of stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software and demonstrated ability to use software to prepare management reports and present information
• Knowledge and/or familiarity with the military lifestyle
• Prior experience working with the Fleet and Family Support Programs
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
