[Remote] Operations Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Claritev is a dynamic team of innovative professionals dedicated to bending the cost curve in healthcare. They are seeking an Operations Analyst to research and analyze data, collaborate with leaders on high priority projects, and improve operational efficiency through root cause analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the department as a subject matter expert/stakeholder in on projects and communicate expected results
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the department's processes across all divisional departments as well as a very strong working knowledge of business rules specific to areas of the department and Operations in general
  • Effectively conduct root cause analysis for various special projects as assigned. This may include shadowing users and updating existing documentation as well as creating new processes/documents to improve efficiency, ultimately improving overall departmental production and/ or performance quality. Work in a very autonomous manner while keeping all process rules and department goals and objectives in mind
  • Stay current with all changes/updates to all processes in the department
  • Analyze data from all processes and build reports around trends
  • Research, construct, develop and test data on applicable systems and environments
  • Act as resource to department management staff in interpreting, analyzing, and utilizing various reports
  • Identify service level problems and trends, test and report results, including at times sign off and approval of specifications or application readiness
  • Create, analyze and interpret management reports and department data that accurately reflect department performance and trends. Monitor product performance for process improvements
  • Compile, analyze, and report any trends observed in performance and/or productivity levels of departmental staff across various areas. Identify problems in data processing either from various areas or Vendor processing and escalate if needed
  • Design reporting and delivery solutions while working closely with IT during all phases of development, testing and release and monitoring. Obtain, conduct and perform signoff on business requirements, system enhancements/builds, and deployment authorizations
  • Effectively work with the suite of the Company's (as well as a number of various legacy) applications in both production and non-production environments
  • Manage multiple priorities, customer expectations (internal and external) and relationships with stakeholders. Consult and manage and communicate with customers, project managers, and all levels of management
  • May lead departmental User Acceptance Testing, utilizing all systems necessary and performing all UAT based activities on behalf of department
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements

  • Please note due to the exposure of PHI sensitive data -- this role is considered to be a High Risk Role

Skills

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or HS Diploma with four (4) years of related experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with large data sets
  • Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
  • Knowledge of the Company's general business principles, industry dynamics, market trends, and specific operational details
  • Knowledge of the Company's core Operations applications
  • Communication (written, verbal and listening), planning, reporting, technical, coordination, organization, collaboration, project management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform User Acceptance Testing within departmental systems and environments. Review and understand defects reported and translate those into actionable items
  • Ability to maintain complex reporting applications (i.e., Qlikview and Service Tracking)
  • Ability to work independently to drive small, medium and large-sized projects of varying complexity to desired outcome
  • Ability to utilize the Company's applications and corresponding business workflows as needed
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical staff and convey complex ideas both verbally and in written form
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team - work well with team members and outside departments
  • Ability to embrace and drive change
  • Ability to utilize independent judgment to identify problem issues and determine the appropriate course of action/redirection required to resolve issue
  • Ability to respond in a timely manner to requests from department Management and internal/external clients
  • Ability to keep the needs of external and internal customers as a priority when making decision and taking action
  • Ability to identify or implement new or modified processes to accomplish the best results with the least time and resources
  • Ability to become proficient with the Company's applications and corresponding business workflows as needed
  • Ability to use software, hardware and peripherals related to job responsibilities, including MS Office, especially Excel and Access
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Knowledge of Healthcare and Managed Care industry preferred
