Position Overview Under the general direction of the Director of Advancement, the Program & Events Manager will play a key role in advancing the mission of the Cascadia College Foundation by managing scholarship programs and supporting high-impact events that engage donors, students, and the community. This position oversees the full lifecycle of scholarship administration, supports donor-funded programs, and supports the planning and execution of Foundation events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional experience for students, donors, and stakeholders. As a Program & Events Manager, it is expected that the following qualities will be demonstrated daily: a high degree of understanding and empathy for all students, faculty, staff and visitors, as well as the ability to encourage the inclusion of all voices in decision-making, promoting equity in all areas, and actively working against institutionalized norms of oppression against historically marginalized people. Employee Type: Full Time Exempt, Permanent Initial Salary: $73,872.00 (includes 5% King County Premium Pay) County Premium Pay (KCPP) Supervising Position: Director of Advancement Essential Duties Scholarship & Program Management Lead the full lifecycle of scholarship administration, managing 2 annual cycles serving 20¿80+ students per cycle. Administer and maintain the Foundation¿s scholarship platform, AwardSpring, including application setup, eligibility criteria, reviewer workflows, and reporting. Coordinate and support scholarship review committees, including volunteer recruitment, training, application assignment, and progress monitoring. Review applications for completeness and eligibility; ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established criteria. Serve as the primary point of contact for student applicants, providing timely, student-centered support and guidance. Collaborate with Financial Aid to coordinate scholarship disbursement schedules and ensure compliance with institutional and donor requirements. Partner with donors and Foundation leadership to establish new scholarships and operationalize fund criteria. Support ongoing donor stewardship by tracking fund activity, coordinating annual contributions, and sharing impact updates. Maintain accurate program records and generate reports on applicant data, award distribution, and outcomes. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accessibility, and equity in scholarship programs. Donor-Funded Program Coordination Monitor donor-funded program budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with donor agreements. Develop and maintain clear program documentation and materials. Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend enhancements based on data and stakeholder feedback. Events Management & Execution Help plan and execute Foundation events, including the Scholarship Reception, Pay It Forward Annual Fundraising Event, and Rosé Revival and Cool White Wines Event. Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, rentals, audiovisual needs, and accessibility considerations. Manage vendor relationships and contracts. Oversee guest registration, check-in processes, seating, and overall attendee experience Support event-day operations, including setup, volunteer coordination, troubleshooting, and execution. Recruit, train, and supervise event volunteers to ensure a seamless experience. Ensure all events align with Foundation and Cascadia College brand standards. Conduct post-event evaluations, including attendance and recommendations for improvement. Marketing & Communications Support Collaborate with the marketing team to promote scholarships and events through email, web, and social media channels. Draft and coordinate content for scholarship outreach, event promotions, and follow-up communications. Align communications with key program and event timelines to maximize engagement. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with campus departments, including Financial Aid, Advising, International Programs, and College & Career Foundations, to ensure effective program delivery.
