Key Responsibilities of the Call Center Representative at arenaflex

As a Customer Service and Call Center Dispatch Specialist at arenaflex, you will take on a dynamic set of responsibilities that are critical to the safety and satisfaction of our customers. Your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Handle Emergency Signals with Composure: Receive and process incoming alarm signals promptly, accurately, and calmly. Each signal represents a potential emergency, and your ability to remain composed under pressure will directly impact the outcome of every situation.
  • Verify and Notify Alarm Signals: Contact customers to verify alarm activations, confirm whether an actual emergency exists, and gather relevant information to determine the appropriate response. This requires excellent listening skills, clear communication, and the ability to ask the right questions quickly.
  • Dispatch Proper Authorities: When an emergency is confirmed, coordinate with local police, fire departments, medical responders, or other appropriate emergency services to ensure a rapid response. Your role in the dispatch process is a vital link in the chain of emergency response.
  • Provide Outstanding Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally and empathetically, addressing questions, concerns, and account inquiries while maintaining the highest standards of courtesy and respect.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for the Remote Call Center Representative position at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following baseline requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent: A foundational level of education is required to ensure you can effectively follow procedures, communicate clearly, and document interactions.
  • Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in a customer-facing role — whether in retail, hospitality, call center, or related field — is highly valued. We are looking for individuals who genuinely enjoy helping others.
  • Weekend, Holiday, and Overtime Flexibility: Because arenaflex operates 24/7/365, all team members must be willing to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. This is an essential role, and reliability is non-negotiable.
  • Computer Literacy: Comfort with computers, typing proficiency, and the ability to learn new software systems quickly are essential. You will be working with multiple platforms and databases simultaneously.
  • New Jersey Residency: Candidates must live within 45 minutes of Manasquan, New Jersey, due to the on-site training requirement. Reliable commute or relocation to the Manasquan area is required.
  • Full-Time Availability: arenaflex only offers full-time positions for this role. Due to the essential nature of the work and the schedule requirements, this is not suitable as a second job.

Shifts, Schedule, and Hybrid Work Opportunities

arenaflex is currently hiring for two primary shifts:

  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

All shifts are eight, ten, or twelve hours in length, depending on operational needs. Weekend, overnight, and holiday availability is required. After successfully completing the paid on-site training program and meeting performance benchmarks, representatives may be eligible for hybrid remote work opportunities, allowing you to work from home on a periodic basis. This is a meaningful perk for team members who demonstrate consistency, accuracy, and reliability during training.

Compensation and Comprehensive Benefits Package

Paid training will take place on-site at our Manasquan, New Jersey facility, beginning January 2, 2024. You will learn to navigate our monitoring platforms, master dispatch protocols, and develop the situational awareness required to respond to a wide range of emergency scenarios. Training is paid, and you will be a member of the arenaflex team from day one.
