About the Role: Part-Time Statistics Analyst I
As a Part-Time Statistics Analyst I at arenaflex, you will be an integral part of our Statistics and Analytics division. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and intelligence of sports data distributed across a wide range of platforms — from television broadcasts and live graphics to digital websites, fantasy sports portals, and real-time game applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Real-Time Statistical Delivery: Work independently and collaboratively to deliver precise play-by-play analysis, clock-and-score updates, and various metrics in real time that power a multitude of arenaflex digital products and television productions.
- Maintain Comprehensive Knowledge: Develop and sustain a working knowledge of the role that Statistics and Data plays in powering arenaflex's digital products and television broadcasts.
- Quality Control: Verify the accuracy of your own work and the work of others, consistently demonstrating an exceptionally high level of attention to detail.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Contribute to productions, projects, and initiatives across the broader newsroom, and assist newsroom leaders in coordinating both full-time and part-time staff.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipate potential issues — both immediate and long-term — and propose effective solutions. Communicate clearly and decisively with colleagues about these challenges.
- Process Improvement: Play an active role in helping colleagues develop or refine production workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
