The product is validated through expert reviews from senior PMs, CPOs, and product leaders. The consistent feedback: the product is strong, the messaging needs tightening. I don't need discovery. I don't need someone to learn my product for two weeks on my dime. I need someone who can read reviewer reports, spend a call or two with me, and start executing by week two.
