[Remote] Program & Administrative Assistant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PLUS1 is a company that partners with artists and cultural leaders to create social impact through charitable giving. They are seeking a Program & Administrative Assistant who will provide coordination, administrative, and research support to ensure the smooth operation of their programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain partnership records, databases, and project tracking systems
  • Support granting coordination and reporting
  • Track timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups across projects
  • Conduct research and create briefs on nonprofit organizations, social issues, and emerging cultural conversations
  • Communicate project status and raise concerns or roadblocks proactively
  • Coordinate internal platforms and systems, including Salesforce and Google Drive
  • Schedule meetings and support team coordination
  • Monitor shared inboxes and maintain organizational documentation
  • Take notes and track action items from meetings
  • Support process improvements and special projects
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO and Program Team as needed

Skills

  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, operations, research, administration, or a related field
  • Strong research, analysis, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems (Salesforce an asset)
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector
  • Familiarity with the music industry, touring, or ticketing
  • Understanding of Canadian and/or U.S. charitable compliance
