Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture: Accurately input patient records, billing information, clinical notes, and other healthcare‑related data from a variety of source documents into arenaflex’s secure database platforms.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform meticulous reviews of entered data to verify completeness, correctness, and compliance with internal data standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Confidentiality Management: Uphold strict confidentiality protocols, ensuring that all protected health information (PHI) is handled in accordance with HIPAA and arenaflex’s security policies.
  • Collaboration: Communicate regularly with remote team members, supervisors, and cross‑functional partners to resolve data discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Data Cleansing: Participate in ongoing data cleanup initiatives, identifying duplicate entries, correcting formatting errors, and flagging inconsistencies for further investigation.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear records of data entry activities, including timestamps, source references, and any corrective actions taken.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute ideas for enhancing data entry processes, suggesting automation tools, or recommending best practices that increase accuracy and speed.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in data entry, health information management, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 12 months proven experience in a data entry role, preferably within a healthcare, insurance, or administrative environment.
  • Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with a high level of accuracy (error rate below 2%).
