Work from home Full-time role Hiring

About arenaflex

arenaflex is a fast‑growing, technology‑driven organization that specializes in managing complex healthcare provider contracts and delivering high‑quality data services to insurers, health plans, and provider networks across the United States. Our mission is to simplify the administrative burden of healthcare contracting, ensuring that providers, payers, and patients all benefit from accurate, timely, and compliant information. As a fully remote employer, arenaflex embraces flexible work arrangements, invests heavily in digital collaboration tools, and fosters a culture where every team member can thrive from the comfort of their own home office. Whether you are a seasoned data professional or someone looking to launch a career in health‑information management, arenaflex offers a supportive environment that values precision, accountability, and continuous learning.

Why This Role Matters

In the rapidly evolving health‑insurance landscape, the integrity of provider contract data is a critical driver of operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and member satisfaction. As a Remote Data Entry Associate, you will be the frontline guardian of that data, ensuring that every contract record is entered, validated, and maintained with the highest level of accuracy. Your work will directly impact the speed at which our clients can onboard providers, process claims, and deliver care, making you an essential contributor to arenaflex’s overall success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Scrubbing & Validation: Review incoming provider contract documents, cleanse data of inconsistencies, and verify the accuracy of fields such as provider names, NPI numbers, contract dates, and reimbursement terms.
  • Contract Research & Installation: Conduct thorough research to confirm provider eligibility, cross‑check contract clauses against regulatory standards, and load validated contracts into the arenaflex customer systems.
  • System Updates & Status Tracking: Maintain real‑time status updates within client portals, ensuring that every contract’s lifecycle stage is clearly reflected for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document Retrieval & Entry: Extract information from a variety of sources—including scanned PDFs, web portals, and legacy databases—and accurately input data into structured fields using Windows‑based applications.
  • Discrepancy Analysis: Analyze collected information to identify potential errors, missing data, or conflicting entries, and initiate corrective actions or escalation as needed.
  • SLA Compliance: Prioritize tasks to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) established by clients, delivering timely and error‑free transactions.
  • Domain Knowledge Application: Apply a solid understanding of healthcare and insurance terminology to interpret contract language, resolve ambiguities, and support problem‑solving initiatives.
  • Issue Resolution & Escalation: Diagnose routine and non‑routine problems, resolve them independently when possible, and collaborate with senior team members for complex escalations.
  • Email Management: Monitor a dedicated support mailbox, respond to inquiries professionally, and provide clear updates on contract status or data‑related questions.
  • Continuous Training & Skill Development: Complete arenaflex’s onboarding and ongoing training modules, demonstrating proficiency in new software tools, SOPs, and industry best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a role that demanded meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and personal accountability for output quality.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a professional office environment—such as data entry, clerical support, or customer service—where you adhered to a regular shift schedule.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems, including the ability to navigate multiple screens, use keyboard shortcuts efficiently, and quickly learn new software applications.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional certifications in data management or health information are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with remote teammates and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey complex contract details clearly to both internal teams and external partners.
  • Effective troubleshooting capabilities, leveraging research, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Time‑management expertise that allows you to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Familiarity with AS400 or similar legacy systems, advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), and adherence to documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Experience with healthcare provider data, insurance terminology, or contract administration is highly desirable.
  • Successful completion of arenaflex’s comprehensive training program, demonstrating mastery of data entry protocols, quality‑control checks, and client‑specific workflows.

Core Competencies & Skills for Success

  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to dissect large volumes of data, spot patterns, and identify anomalies that could affect contract integrity.
  • Precision & Accuracy: Commitment to entering data without errors, double‑checking entries, and following verification steps meticulously.
  • Technical Agility: Comfort with learning new software platforms, adapting to updates, and leveraging productivity tools to streamline work.
  • Customer‑Focused Mindset: Understanding that your data work directly supports client operations and ultimately impacts patient care.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Proactive engagement with teammates via chat, video calls, and shared documentation to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
  • Self‑Discipline: Ability to manage distractions, maintain a structured workday, and meet deadlines while working remotely.
