Job Title: .NET Developer / SQL Server Programmer Location(s): Richmond, VA (Hybrid) Job Summary: Seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong SQL Server expertise to support application development and maintenance initiatives for a public health organization. The role involves developing and enhancing ASP.NET/MVC and .NET Core applications, database programming, and supporting enterprise web solutions in a hybrid Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance ASP.NET/MVC and .NET Core applications. Design and develop SQL Server databases and queries. Build responsive web applications using C#, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML. Participate in project planning, meetings, and documentation. Support application modernization and DevSecOps practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Required Skills: 8+ years of C# .NET web application development. 8+ years of SQL Server programming and database design. 5+ years of JavaScript/jQuery. Strong HTML/web development experience. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills: GitLab and DevSecOps experience. Telerik controls experience. Agile development methodology. Microsoft M365, Azure Cloud, and Power Platform knowledge. Interview Process: In-person interview required. Possible phone screening before onsite interview.
